After the train pulled into the station, Princess Twilight and her friends waited anxiously on the train platform for her newly assigned royal bodyguard as crowds of ponies flowed out of the train doors.

Dissidia Duodecim FiM The other mane 6by ~D-Lowell

This is part 1, where I showcase the other mane 6 characters for duodecim.

I decided to take a bit of a risk to put less emphasis on their references to final fantasy and more on themselves. I wanted to focus on making each of them unique and stand out in their own way. After FF6, there were less emphasis on character classes, starting with warriors, and made them more of unique class. FF12 and FF13 are the more obvious examples of this.

Might need to redo Vinyl Scratch. Tron looks cool but a bit too out of place...

The characters are the following from left to right:

Spitfire from her Wonderbolt Academy days as a staff sergeant/platoon leader. A loose connection between her and Lightning as they are both military personnel.
Dr. Whooves - Dr Whooves being like a time mage.
Derpy Hooves - Derpy just being derpy
Vinyl Scratch [considering changing her outfit to be less anachronistic]
Octavia - Bard class in a victorian era style (inspired by eternal sonata)
Zecora - Alchemist

Great picture, but you're right about Vinyl looking out of place. At first glance I didn't see her (counted only 5 ponies), I guess she doesn't have enough contrast to derpies clothes. At second glance she looked awesome, but out of place. Still a great pic overall, though.

Should I try to do the full line up of duodecim? This took a little over a week. Since I would have to do 10 more characters, it will take 2 weeks... -_-

No, you're right. I am still working on spitfire's face. Need to be more feminine, which is hard for me to do with ponies.

Duodecim is the prequel to dissidia final fantasy.

Ah, I have never played final fantasy or any of it's prequels or sequels. The poses on the ponies is spot on though.
